{"id":28571,"date":"2021-11-23T06:30:57","date_gmt":"2021-11-23T05:30:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/diarisanitat.cat\/?p=28571"},"modified":"2021-11-23T06:30:57","modified_gmt":"2021-11-23T05:30:57","slug":"la-contaminacio-de-laire-sassocia-a-un-major-risc-de-patir-covid-greu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amazing-bassi.82-223-8-23.plesk.page\/index.php\/2021\/11\/23\/la-contaminacio-de-laire-sassocia-a-un-major-risc-de-patir-covid-greu\/","title":{"rendered":"La contaminaci\u00f3 de l&#8217;aire s&#8217;associa a un major risc de patir Covid greu"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>L\u2019exposici\u00f3 prolongada a la contaminaci\u00f3 de l\u2019aire no s&#8217;associa a un major risc d\u2019infecci\u00f3 per Covid-19, per\u00f2 s\u00ed a emmalaltir m\u00e9s greument d\u2019aquesta malaltia, segons un estudi coliderat per l\u2019Institut de Salut Global de Barcelona (ISGlobal), centre impulsat per la Fundaci\u00f3 \u201dla Caixa\u201d, i pel projecte GCAT de Institut d&#8217;Investigaci\u00f3 Germans Trias i Pujol (IGTP) de Badalona.<\/p>\n<p>En l&#8217;estudi, publicat a <a href=\"https:\/\/ehp.niehs.nih.gov\/doi\/10.1289\/EHP9726\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Environment Health Perspectives<\/em><\/a>, es van mesurar un seguit d\u2019anticossos antivirals en una cohort d\u2019individus residents a Catalunya (la cohort <a href=\"https:\/\/www.isglobal.org\/ca\/-\/covicat\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">COVICAT<\/a>), amb informaci\u00f3 sobre l\u2019exposici\u00f3 d\u2019aquests individus als contaminants atmosf\u00e8rics NO2, PM2.5, sutge i oz\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>La investigaci\u00f3 va incloure 9.605 participants, entre els quals hi havia 481 casos confirmats de Covid (5%). A m\u00e9s, es van prendre mostres de sang a poc m\u00e9s de 4.000 participants per determinar la pres\u00e8ncia i quantitat d\u2019anticossos IgM, IgA i IgG davant de cinc ant\u00edgens virals.<\/p>\n<p>Els resultats no revelen una relaci\u00f3 entre exposici\u00f3 a la contaminaci\u00f3 i infecci\u00f3, per\u00f2 s\u00ed que es va trobar una associaci\u00f3 entre una major exposici\u00f3 a di\u00f2xid de nitrogen (NO2) i part\u00edcules fines (PM2.5) i nivells m\u00e9s elevats d\u2019IgG contra els cinc ant\u00edgens virals, la qual cosa indica una major c\u00e0rrega infecciosa o gravetat dels s\u00edmptomes.<\/p>\n<p>Segons <span id=\"page120R_mcid8\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Manolis Kogevinas<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">, investigador d\u2019ISGlobal i primer autor de <\/span><\/span> l&#8217;estudi, la investigaci\u00f3 proporciona l\u2019evid\u00e8ncia m\u00e9s contundent fins ara sobre l\u2019associaci\u00f3 entre contaminaci\u00f3 de l\u2019aire i Covid-19. \u201cEls resultats van en l\u00ednia amb l\u2019associaci\u00f3 entre contaminaci\u00f3 i hospitalitzaci\u00f3 que s\u2019ha descrit per a d\u2019altres infeccions respirat\u00f2ries com ara la grip o la pneum\u00f2nia\u201d, assenyala.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;equip investigador subratlla que la contaminaci\u00f3 tamb\u00e9 podria contribuir afavorint condicions cr\u00f2niques, com les cardiovasculars o les respirat\u00f2ries, que augmenten el risc d\u2019emmalaltir greument per Covid-19.
